Lead Mission Designer: Heroic Game Day

Educational MMO for kids. Used in schools across the U.S. and India. Built for Chrome and Chromebooks.

  • Led mission design team. Released 200+ Missions.

  • 1 year as mission designer. Created levels, mechanics & stories.

  • Tools used - Proprietary web editor, Unity, Miro, Jira

Combat Design: Project Hemorrhage

Vampire-themed action game. Project focus on combat systems, game feel, & level design.

  • Designed & implemented vampiric player abilities.

  • Used Blueprints & the Gameplay Ability System.

  • Tools used - Unreal Engine 5, GitHub, Miro

  • Team size - 6 people

  • Time spent - 1 semester (16 weeks)

Level Design: Tavern Crawl

Final undergrad project. Action-adventure game with crafty cocktails & a very cute mouse!

  • 38,000 license activations & 10,000 players after the first year.

  • Designed levels for the tutorial, final level, & final boss arena

  • Tools used - Unreal Engine 4, GitHub, Asana

  • Team size - 25 people

  • Time spent - Two semesters (32 weeks)

Level Design & Scripting: Zelda Bomb Shrine

Personal project to deepen my Unreal Engine skills.

  • Recreated Link’s Remote Bomb abilities using Blueprints.

  • Designed, blocked-out, and scripted a shrine style level.

  • Tools used - Unreal Engine 5, GitHub, Miro

  • Team size - Solo

  • Time spent - 60 hours


Skyrim Mod - Frostwater Village

Released to Nexus Mods. Adds a new village with a multi-step questline

  • Designed & implemented a core quest level.

  • Scripted a puzzle with custom interactions.

  • Created the core content treatment for the overall questline.

  • Tools used - Skyrim Creation Kit, GitHub

  • Team sizes - 5 people

  • Time spent - 6 weeks

Game Design, Level Design & Scripting: Rapid Prototypes

Game prototypes quickly created within different sets of challenges.

  • Designed mechanics, levels, & overall gameplay.

About Me

I’m a game designer living in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Currently, I’m a second-year master’s student in Game Design at the University of Utah.

Previously, I worked as Lead Mission Designer on Heroic Gameday: an educational MMO for kids.

I graduated in 2022 from the University of Utah’s undergraduate game program.

Some of my favorite games include: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Jusant, SKATE 3, Destiny 2, STEEP, Titanfall 2, and A Short Hike.

Outside of games I enjoy hiking, camping, climbing, reading and Formula 1.
